Sept. 29 - Third Post - Favourite Movies, Things You Like About BTT and Formatting Blogs

I want you to become familiar with some of the formatting that you can do with the blogs. Use the formatting tools that blogger gives you, you will fill in the blanks in your own blog.

My Top 3 Favourite Movies (bold):

  1. First movie title (note: you must use the number tool (ordered list) in the blogger format toolbar to get the numbers....DO NOT PRESS THE NUMBER 1 OR NUMBER 2...)
  2. Second movie title
  3. Third movie title (note: to get rid of the numbering, you must press enter twice)

What I liked about BTT so far (in no particular order and at least 2 things): (blue text and bold)
  • I like using TEL...

September 25 - First BTT Blog - 2 entries

Hello BTT 1, 2 and 3.

I would like you all to create a Blog (Web Log) account this week. You may or may not be successful during class time initially, but you are to complete your first blog entry today since we will be starting an assignment tomorrow using Microsoft Word.

You will need to go to http://www.blogger.com

Follow the steps to create your own blog.

Please have your username as YourFirstNameLastNameBTT2009.

Note: Your blog will be hosted at http://Yourusername.blogspot.com (no www address)

Keep your username simple, your site simple and your password simple. You will be asked to enter a few blog entries during this first term.

First Entry: Please just write a few paragraphs telling about what your computer skills are currently. Do you use e-mail? chat? word processing? build web sites? build computers? Tell us everything about yourself and your skill level.

Second Entry: Please write a brief paragraph about a person you admire or inspires you. Who are they and why do you think they are special? We will be doing a research project on this individual starting tomorrow, so think carefully.

Thanks,

Mr. Hayakawa
